Account-based marketing for supply chain companies
Start with the accounts, not the leads
What account-based marketing includes
Account-based marketing flips the usual approach. Instead of attracting as many leads as possible and sorting them later, you start with a list of high-value companies and market directly to the people inside them.
For 3PLs chasing enterprise shippers, manufacturers selling into large distributors, and software companies with long sales cycles, we handle account selection, targeted LinkedIn and digital ads, personalized content, and the coordination with your sales team that makes it work.
What’s included
Everything it takes to reach and win your highest-value accounts, coordinated by one team with your sales reps.
Account selection
Building your target list from your best customers, sales input, and firmographic data.
Buying committee mapping
Identifying the roles involved in each decision, from operations and procurement to finance and IT.
Targeted LinkedIn ads
Campaigns aimed at specific companies and job titles using LinkedIn’s account targeting.
Personalized content
Messaging, case studies, and landing pages built around each account’s industry and challenges.
Sales outreach support
Email templates, LinkedIn message scripts, and talking points for your sales team.
Engagement tracking
Visibility into which accounts are visiting your site, engaging with ads, and showing buying signals.
Reporting
Account-level reports on engagement, meetings, opportunities, and pipeline.
ABM is a fit if
Signs an account-first approach will pay off for your team.
Large, complex customers
Your best customers are large companies with long, complex buying decisions.
A few accounts matter most
Winning a few key accounts would change your year.
Many decision-makers
Several people at each target company weigh in on the purchase.
Sales knows the targets
Your sales team already knows which companies they want, but marketing isn’t helping them get in the door.
Effort where it matters most
Three levels of account-based marketing
Not every target account needs the same level of effort. We build programs in tiers, so your budget goes furthest where the stakes are highest.
One to one
For your top 5 to 10 dream accounts. Fully personalized content, custom landing pages, direct outreach, and close coordination with the sales rep who owns each account.
One to few
For a group of 10 to 50 similar accounts, like enterprise retailers or food and beverage manufacturers. Content and campaigns tailored to their shared challenges.
One to many
For a broader list of 50 to 500 accounts that fit your ideal customer profile. Targeted ads and content at scale, with the most engaged accounts moving up to more personal outreach.
How it works
A clear path from a target list to real conversations with the accounts you want.
Align with sales
We agree with your sales team on target accounts, tiers, and what success looks like.
Research and plan
We map buying committees and build messaging for each tier.
Launch
Ads, content, and outreach roll out in coordinated waves so each account sees a consistent story.
Track and adjust
We watch which accounts are engaging, flag them to sales, and shift effort toward the ones heating up.
RESULTS
We love making our clients look good
Account-based marketing
PLACEHOLDER: Add an ABM or targeted campaign result here, such as meetings with target accounts, account engagement rates, or deals won. Example: A 3PL targeting 40 enterprise shippers reached decision-makers at X% of its target accounts and opened conversations with X within six months.
Frequently asked questions
How is account-based marketing different from lead generation?
Lead generation casts a wider net and qualifies leads as they come in. ABM starts with a specific list of companies and focuses everything on reaching and winning them. Many clients use both, with ABM for their highest-value targets and lead generation for everyone else.
How many accounts should we target?
It depends on your sales capacity and budget. Most programs start with 25 to 100 accounts across tiers, so marketing and sales can give each one real attention.
How long does ABM take to show results?
ABM follows your sales cycle, so expect early engagement signals within the first 60 to 90 days and meetings and opportunities over 6 to 12 months. We report on account engagement along the way so you can see progress before deals close.
What does our sales team need to do?
Sales is a partner in ABM, not an audience for it. We need input on target accounts and regular check-ins on which accounts are warming up. We provide outreach templates and talking points so following up takes less time.
What tools do you use?
We use LinkedIn’s company and contact targeting, Apollo, Clay, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and website tracking to build account lists, find the right contacts, and see which accounts are engaging. If you already have ABM or intent data tools, we’ll work with what you have.
Know which accounts you want to win?
Share your target list, and we’ll show you how we’d reach the people inside them.
